ALTBalaji and ZEE5 host virtual concert, 'Mum Bhai Unplugged' 

The recently-released web show 'Mum Bhai' by ALTBalaji & ZEE5 has been getting praises aplenty from critics and fans alike owing to its gripping and entertaining narrative. In addition to the story that's got them hooked to their screens, fans can't get enough of the groovy chartbuster 'Imported Sharab' that features Madhurima Roy along with the two leads Angad Bedi and Sikander Kher. Further striking the right note with their subscribers, Mum Bhai's title track, sung by Dopeadelicz has also received a lot of love for its raw vibe and catchy lyrics.

Leaving no stone unturned towards celebrating the success of the show, the makers of the series recently hosted a virtual concert for their fans named 'Mum Bhai Unplugged'. The concert hosted by Mihir Joshi captured Angad Bedi's reactions to the wonderful performances by Yashika Sikka and Dopeadelicz, the voice behind the two songs.

The concert started with Angad talking about the success of the show, and how Bhaskar Shetty, his character, is close to his heart. Talking about getting into the essence of the show, he says, "I have a solid connection with the North, and my first language is Punjabi. Hence, to play a character who is from the south was difficult in the initial phase. The dynamics changed for me completely with learning a language that's a mix of Bambaiya Hindi in the Mangalorean accent. My character of Bhaskar is one that's extremely close to me because he is an underdog, which I am in real life. This is one of the main reasons why I could connect with him very easily in that aspect."

Yashika Sikka performed on the peppy dance number 'Imported Sharab', composed by Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipur and written by Rashmin Dighe. One could see the handsome Angad Bedi, hum along with her while enjoying the performance. Leaving everyone mesmerized was Mum Bhai's title track composed by famous rapper Dopeadelicz, giving another vibe to the virtual concert. Angad Bedi rejoiced both the performances and appreciated the talent aplenty.

Now streaming on ALTBalaji & ZEE5, Mum Bhai is a crime drama that will dive into the Mumbai underworld. The narrative revolves around the friendship between a cop and a criminal, set in the milieu of Mumbai's underbelly from the late eighties to early 2000.
