All-Women Rotary Club Ludhiana Harmony cited as a 'role Model' – District Governor Rohit Uberoi applauds efforts 

Ludhiana, December 16, 2025: Adhering to human values and devoting one's constructive thinking to social welfare work is the true service to humanity. These words were expressed by Rotarian Rohit Uberoi, District Governor-3070, while addressing the members of Rotary Club Ludhiana Harmony and principal office bearers of various Rotary Clubs in Ludhiana, during a special felicitation ceremony organized by the Rotary Club Ludhiana Harmony at the PAU Faculty Club on Sunday evening.
In his impactful address, he said, “The service campaign run by the Rotary Club across the world for serving humanity and systematically carrying out social service works is in itself an exemplary task. For this, I sincerely thank all the Rotarian members.”
Rotarian Uberoi added that the Rotary Club Ludhiana Harmony, which is based purely on women members, is a Role Model Club in itself! Under the able leadership of the club's current President, Dr. Param Saini, the club is making an effort to further strengthen the Rotary Club by connecting more and more women with the club, thus intensifying the campaign of service work!
He praised all the service works related to education, health, and environmental preservation done by the entire team of Rotary Club Ludhiana Harmony in the past.
During this event, Dr. Param Saini, President, and Dr. Pragya Sharma, Secretary of Rotary Club Ludhiana Harmony, presented a report of all the social service works carried out by the club in the recent past to Rotarian Uberoi.
During the ceremony, six new women members who joined the Rotary Club Ludhiana Harmony were also honored by Rotarian Uberoi’s wife by pinning them.
On this occasion, the club’s President Dr. Param Saini, Secretary Dr. Pragya Sharma, and Sunaina Jain specially honored Rotarian Uberoi by presenting him with a memento.
Also present on the occasion were club members Maninder Kaur, Namita Raj Singh, Nikki Kohli, Manisha, Dr. Anjali Shah, Dr. Palwinder, Dr. Mahak Bansal, Dr. Gurmeet Rattan, Dr. Tejpreet Kang, Dr. Parampal Sahota, Ashu Kapoor, Ekamdeep, Harshmita, and Ravneet.
