Chandigarh, November 17, 2015: The All India Civil Services Basketball Tournament 2015-16 is going to be held here from December 1 to 4, 2015, for which, the selection of players of Haryana will be done on November 23 at Dronacharya Stadium in Kurukshetra.
While giving this information, the Director, Sports and Youth Affairs, Mr Jagdeep Singh said that this tournament would be held at Sports Complex, Sector 42, Chandigarh, where team of Haryana would also participate. For the selection of 12 sportspersons, a four-member committee would be constituted under the chairmanship of District Sports and Youth Affairs Officer of Sonepat.
Mr Singh said that special training would be organised for the selected players for the tournament, who would be given training from November 23 to November 29 at Dronacharya Stadium in Kurukshetra. The training would be imparted under the leadership of District Sports and Youth Affairs Officer of Kurukshetra./ (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
