All India Bhagwan Valmiki Sewa Dal honours Cabinet Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu
For his continuous efforts towards upliftment of Dalit Samaj
Ludhiana: Punjab Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu have always worked hard for the upliftment and betterment of the Dalit Samaj. This was stated by Ajay Kumar Sidhu, National President, All India Bhagwan Valmiki Sewa Dal.
Bharat Bhushan Ashu was honoured by the All India Bhagwan Valmiki Sewa Dal for his continuous efforts towards the upliftment of Dalit Samaj. He was also presented with a photograph of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji.
While speaking on the occasion, Ajay Kumar Sidhu said that it is the Congress party that has always supported the Dalit Samaj. He said that even when Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu was a municipal councillor, he was known for his works for the betterment of the Dalit Samaj, and even now when he is a Cabinet Minister, he is still working 24X7. He said that the entire Valmiki community is thankful of Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Punjab Government as well as the Congress party for their efforts towards their betterment.
Bharat Bhushan Ashu said that Dalit Samaj is the backbone of Congress party and the Punjab government has started several welfare schemes for their betterment.
Dalit leaders Gurbachan Singh, Saroj Rani, Namo Mattu, Sapna Valmiki, Ravi Goyal, Master Mangat Ram Azad, Kamaljit Kaur, Savitri Rani, Surinder Singh, Gurjant Singh, Love Sidhu, Bhushan Ram, Gurmeet Singh, Kartar, Balvir, Upinder Singh, Lakhwinder, Lucky, Sonu Gill, Mehtab Singh, Samar Kumar, Monty Kumar, Arjun Valmiki, besides several others were also present on the occasion.
