All formalities be completed without delay for setting up of Baba Moti Ram Mehra Memorial: Phillaur

Chandigarh, October 24, 2013: To pay befitting tribute to Baba Moti Ram Mehra a state of art Baba Moti Ram Memorial would be to set up at Sri Fathegarh Sahib by the Punjab Government.

Sarwan Singh Phillaur Cultural Affairs Ministers Punjab said this while presiding over a meeting with the members of the concept committee constituted for the construction of Baba Moti Ram Mehra Memorial. Minister said that the martyrdom of these legends was a lighthouse for those people who were continuously fighting against the injustice and tyranny. He said that the state government was committed for perpetuating the rich legacy of the great Gurus and other such personalities for which stupendous efforts were being made by them.

In the presence of the concept committee members Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Prof. Prem Singh Chanumajra, Prof. Kirpal Singh, Prof. Pirthipal Singh Kapoor, Principal Secretary SS Channy and other members of the committee the concept paper prepared by Dr. Manhoman Singh Bhagowalia for the establishment of Baba Moti Ram Mehra was discussed and it was unanimously decided by the members to make concept paper more precise.

Phillaur further said that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal would personally review the progress report of this project very soon and directed the officials to complete all formalities for the establishment of this project without any delay. www.cityairnews.com
