Chandigarh August 17, 2023: Alisha Lalhall, a Ph.D. student at CNSNT & UIET, PU, under the supervision of Dr. Nishima (UIET), has been recognized as one of the recipients of the 'Best Young Innovative Award' for her E-poster presentation. Her presentation titled "Smartphone-enabled Fluorescent Nanoprobes based Aptasensors for Detection of Heavy Metals: Implications for Environmental Monitoring and Agricultural Runoff Management" earned this recognition at the International Conference on Applications of Natural Products Nanomaterials and Nano-pharmaceuticals (ICAN3), held on 9-10thAugust, 2023. The conference held in hybrid mode was organized by the School of Life Sciences at B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India, in association with Nano and Biomaterials Association (NBA), The Biotech Research Society (BRSI) (India), Centre for Surface Technology and Applications (CeSTA) and Korea Aerospace University, Republic of Korea.
