Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian formally inaugurated a world-famous American fast-food restaurant at Morgan Crossing, located on the local South Bypass, Canal Road, here. This project has been commissioned under the Invest Punjab initiative of Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government.

Ludhiana, September 20, 2026: Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian formally inaugurated a world-famous American fast-food restaurant at Morgan Crossing, located on the local South Bypass, Canal Road, here. This project has been commissioned under the Invest Punjab initiative of Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government.
On this occasion, Morgan Crossing owners Colonel Harbant Singh Kahlon and Rinki Kahlon were also present.
Cabinet Minister Khuddian stated that, following the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to boost businesses the Punjab Government is providing simple approvals through its Invest Punjab initiative.
It is pertinent to mention that the foundation stone of this project was laid in December 2023 under which a new bridge on Sidhwan Canal was also constructed with a cost of around Rs 2.5 crore.
Cabinet Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian said that under Invest Punjab, not only are several large companies investing in Punjab at Morgan Crossing near Lohara, but the establishment of this commercial project is also providing employment to hundreds of youths. He added that this commercial project was brought to the area on foreign lines by the Punjab Government, which will prove beneficial for the people of Ludhiana both in terms of convenience and financial empowerment.
Retired Colonel Harbant Singh Kahlon expressed special gratitude to the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for truly implementing the "Right to Business Act." He said that setting up new industries in Punjab has now become very smooth because the Punjab Government is providing all industry-related NOCs (No Objection Certificates) and other procedures under one roof within a set time frame, which is attracting a large number of industrialists from other states to Punjab as well.
