Advanced brain, spine care now closer to Rohtak patients

Rohtak, October 7, 2026: HCMCT Manipal Hospital, Delhi, has started a super-specialty neurosurgery and spine OPD in association with Lifecare Multispeciality Hospital, Rohtak, to provide advanced neurological care closer to patients’ homes.

The OPD will be held on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 11 am to 1 pm, starting October. Specialists will offer consultations for conditions including chronic back pain, sciatica, slipped disc, brain tumours, headaches, neurological vision problems and nerve-related disorders.

Neurosurgeon Dr Anurag Saxena said many patients continued to suffer from persistent back pain and neurological problems due to fear of surgery. He said advances in minimally invasive neurosurgery and spine care had made treatment safer, with smaller incisions, less blood loss, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery.

Dr Rajesh Jale, MD, Lifecare Multispeciality Hospital, said the initiative would give patients in Rohtak and adjoining areas access to specialised consultation and modern treatment options without travelling to Delhi.

The initiative aims to improve access to advanced neurosurgical and spine care for patients in Rohtak and neighbouring districts.
