Panjab University, Chandigarh has invited applications for the admission for its prestigious BBA-MBA (Sectoral) Five-Year Integrated Programme at University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), for the new academic session.

Chandigarh, May 7, 2026: Panjab University, Chandigarh has invited applications for the admission for its prestigious BBA-MBA (Sectoral) Five-Year Integrated Programme at University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), for the new academic session.
The last date for submission of information on the admission website to generate Login ID and Password is June 23, 2026 (Tuesday). Interested candidates can apply online through the official admission website. 
The admission poster for the programme was formally released by the PU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig, in the presence of distinguished university dignitaries including Dean University Instruction (DUI) Prof. Meenakshi Goyal, Dean Students Welfare (DSW) Prof. Y.K. Rawal, Dean Students Welfare (Women) Prof. Namita Gupta, Director, PI-RAHI: Northern Region S&T Cluster Prof. Rajat Sandhir, NSS Coordinator Dr. Parveen Goyal, Panjab University Teachers Association (PUTA) Secretary Dr. Mritunjay Kumar, PUSA President Mr. Honey Thakur and DPR Dr. Vineet Punia.
The event was led by Prof. Anupreet Kaur Mavi, Director, UIAMS. Faculty members including Dr. Manu Sharma and Dr. Rachita Sambyal were also present on the occasion. Dr. Amandeep Singh Marwaha, Training-cum-Placement Officer, and Mr. Manjit Singh, Assistant Registrar, also graced the event with their presence.
Admissions to the programme shall be made on the basis of a merit composite comprising 50% weightage of marks obtained in Matriculation and 50% weightage of marks obtained in 10+2 examination. Additionally, students with Commerce at the 10+2 level shall be granted an extra weightage of 10%.
PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig appreciated the efforts of UIAMS in offering innovative and industry-oriented academic programmes. She emphasised that the BBA-MBA (Sectoral) Five-Year Integrated Programme equips students with managerial competence, leadership skills, and multidisciplinary exposure aligned with the evolving needs of industry and society. She encouraged students from diverse academic backgrounds to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the programme.
Prof. Anupreet Kaur Mavi highlighted that the BBA-MBA (Sectoral) programme is designed to equip students with strong managerial, analytical, and industry-oriented skills through an integrated and interdisciplinary curriculum. The programme has consistently attracted students from across the country due to its innovative structure, academic excellence, and placement opportunities.
Director, UIAMS informed that the candidates who have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary Examination) or its equivalent from a recognised Board or Institution with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Students from all streams including Commerce, Science, and Arts may seek admission to the programme. A relaxation of 5 percent in eligibility marks is admissible to SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates as per university norms.
