Admission start in NIIFT Jalandhar

Nawanshahr, May 9, 2022: Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) has invited applications for admission to its undergraduate course being offered in Jalandhar campus.

Divulging further details, GM District Industries Centre Arshjit Singh said that NIIFT centre in Jalandhar’s Guru Gobind Singh Avenue has been duly approved by UGC and affiliated with Punjab Technical University. He said that a three-year degree course BSc fashion design is being offered by the centre here.

Revealing about eligibility, Singh said that the aspirants must have cleared 12th from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education or state board or from National Open School with a minimum of five subjects or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education

He said that upon successful completion of the degree, students can start their own business in the textile, fashion and apparel sector, graphic designing or can get placements as design consultants, fashion designers, merchandisers, garment product managers, quality controller, fashion accessory designer, retail or store manager, private stylist, teacher or trainer etc.
