Rohtak, June 7, 2026: The admission process is currently underway for the academic session 2026-27 at MDU’s University Teaching Departments (UTD) and MDU-CPAS, Gurugram.

Admissions are open for Postgraduate (PG) programs, 3-year LLB (Hons), B.P.Ed, M.Tech programs, two-year DTISL and DISLI courses, as well as various employability enhancement certificate, diploma, and PG diploma courses. Approximately 4,000 seats across 100 courses are available under this admission process.

MDU’s Director of Public Relations, Sunit Mukherjee, stated that students can apply online via the university website until June 10 for admission to the approximately 4,000 seats available across these 100 courses (PG, 3-year LLB (Hons), B.P.Ed, certificates, diplomas, and PG diplomas). Admissions will be based on an entrance examination.

He stated the intake capacities for the courses conducted at the University Teaching Department (UTD) as follows: MA (Education) – 30, M.Ed. – 50, M.P.Ed. – 40, B.P.Ed. – 100, MA (English) – 60, MA (Hindi) – 60, MA (Journalism and Mass Communication) – 40, MA (Sanskrit) – 75, MA (Music-Vocal) – 15, MA (Music-Instrumental/Sitar) – 15, MA (Fine Arts-Drawing and Painting) – 15, MA (Yoga Science) – 50, MA (Defence and Strategic Studies) – 50, MA (Economics) – 60, MA (Geography) – 50, MA (History) – 70, M.Lib. & Information Science – 45, MA (Political Science) – 60, MA (Psychology) – 40, MA (Public Administration) – 50, MA (Sociology) – 50, M.Sc. (AI and Machine Learning), 18 in M.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering, 24 in M.Tech. Manufacturing and Automation, 24 in M.Tech. Mechanical Engineering, 24 in M.Tech. Structural Engineering, and 24 in M.Tech. Power Systems. For working professionals, 15 seats each are available in M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering, Power Systems, and Mechanical Engineering.

Meanwhile, at MDU-CPAS, Gurugram, the available seats are: 180 in MBA, 30 in MBA (Executive Evening), 120 in LLB (Hons.) 3-Year course, 45 in LLM (Shift I), and 45 in LLM (Shift II).
