Chandigarh, June 29, 2015: Panjab University (PU) today announced the schedule for entrance examinations to BDS course at Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences (HSJIDS). The exam would be held on July 20 and the prospectus shall be available on the institute website from June 30 onwards.
Incidentally the entrance exam shall be held just five days prior to AIPMT retest. A large number of candidates are expected to take the PU exam being held just before AIPMT.
The Dental Institute is a premier dental institute of the region with over 270 dental chairs operatories catering to over 450 patients every day. The institute has tie ups with stem cell, UIET and other research organizations. The student of Dr. HSJIDS has excelled in various MDS entrance examinations and has a rich alumni base.
The dental institute was started in 2006 and the Director of the institute, Dr. Ashish Jain said that from this year MDS course in five specialties have been started. Dr. Jain further said that the institute plans to start research based programs from next year
