Jalandhar, June 18, 2025: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is committed to provide better education to the students and their all-round development. Principal Dr. Suman Chopra informed that students are showing keen interest in taking admission in the college for the session 2025-26. She said that along with traditional courses, vocational courses are also being run at the college to make education relevant to the times, in which students are taking admission on priority basis. She said that the admission date fixed by Guru Nanak University Amritsar without late fee is August 19. After this date, admissions will be made with late fee. She added that the students of the college get first, second and third positions in the merit list of the university every year. Similarly, in the field of cultural and sports, the students of the college perform excellently at the university and national level and become overall champions. She appealed to the parents of the children to get their wards admitted in Lyallpur Khalsa College for the golden future and bright life of their children. She said that the college has a library, science and computer labs with modern facilities. She opined that under the new education system 2020 started from the year 2024-25, the education of the students has been arranged according to the new educational structure, due to which the students will be able to get skilled education and go to their business or job field with new energy. On this occasion, Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Vice Principal, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Dr. Harjit Singh, Dr. Rashpal Singh, teachers of various departments and a large number of students were present.
