Administrative Reshuffle at MDU: New Responsibilities Assigned to Several Professors
Professor A. S. Maan, Dept. of Physics has been appointed as Dean, Academic Affairs of MDU, Rohtak by Vice Chancellor with effect from May 1. Prof. Maan joined duty as Dean, Academic Affairs today.

Rohtak, May 1, 2026: Professor A. S. Maan, Dept. of Physics has been appointed as Dean, Academic Affairs of MDU, Rohtak by Vice Chancellor with effect from May 1. Prof. Maan joined duty as Dean, Academic Affairs today.
VC Prof. Milap Punia has appointed Prof. Govind Singh, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences as Director, Aryabhatta Central Instrumentation Laboratory (CIL).
Prof. Jaswant Saini, Dept. of Law has been designated as First Appellate Authority as per orders of the Vice Chancellor.
Dr. Babita Khosla, Associate Professor of Dept. of Environmental Sciences has been assigned the charge of Deputy Director (E- learning and Technical) of Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Further, Dr. Harkesh Sehrawat, Associate Professor, CSE, U.I.E.T has been assigned the charge of Co- ordinator, CDOE.
All the faculty members assumed their administrative duties today.
Registrar Dr. Sandeep Bansal and other University functionaries congratulated the new appointees, and conveyed their good wishes for their new assignments. Faculty members and non- teaching employees joined in conveying good wishes to the new incumbents.
