Ludhiana, Sep 1, 2025: The district administration on Monday dispatched five hi-tech ambulances to flood-affected areas in Amritsar, ensuring essential medical support for residents impacted by the flooding.
These ambulances, equipped with required medicines and advanced medical equipment, will be stationed strategically in the flood-hit areas to provide timely health services and emergency care.
Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain stated that these would strengthen medical and healthcare services in the flood-affected areas, addressing the immediate needs of the local population.
"Our priority is to ensure that those affected by the floods have access to proper medical care," added Jain. "These ambulances will play a vital role in delivering essential healthcare services to the people in need."
The DC reiterated that administration is committed to supporting the well-being of residents during this challenging time. The ambulances will remain stationed in the affected areas to provide ongoing medical assistance until the situation stabilizes.
