ADM inspection of 3 Punjab Girls Bn NCC, Ludhiana by Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM, GP CDR NCC GP HQ Ludhiana
On Friday, Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM, Group Commander NCC Group Ludhiana, carried out an Adm Inspection of 3 Punjab Girls Bn NCC Unit, Ludhiana. Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM visited the Unit and was warmly welcomed by Col RS Chauhan, Commanding Officer, 3 Punjab Girls Bn NCC.
Ludhiana, May 22, 2026: On Friday, Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM, Group Commander NCC Group Ludhiana, carried out an Adm Inspection of 3 Punjab Girls Bn NCC Unit, Ludhiana. Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM visited the Unit and was warmly welcomed by Col RS Chauhan, Commanding Officer, 3 Punjab Girls Bn NCC.
During the visit, Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM interacted with PI Staff, ANOs, CTOs, GCIs, Civil Staff, and NCC cadets and appreciated their discipline, smart turnout, dedication, and sincere efforts towards NCC activities. Thereafter, Col RS Chauhan briefed Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM regarding the achievements, training activities, administration, and developmental initiatives undertaken by the Unit for the holistic growth of NCC cadets. While addressing the staff and cadets, Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM emphasized the importance of discipline, leadership, punctuality, teamwork, and patriotism. He motivated the cadets to actively participate in NCC activities and encouraged them to become responsible citizens and future leaders of the nation. He also specially motivated the TSC Team to prepare with full dedication for the upcoming TSC Camp and perform with excellence at higher levels.
An appreciation ceremony was also organized during the visit wherein Hav Amandeep Singh and CTO Shama Sharma were awarded NCC Group Ludhiana Medals and Laskar Jiwan Singh Award for their commendable contribution towards NCC activities. Cadet Nidhi Kimothi was awarded an NCC Peak Cap for her outstanding performance and sincere efforts in NCC training activities.
A tea party was organized after the interaction session, which was attended by Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM, Col RS Chauhan, Unit Staff, ANOs, CTOs, and NCC cadets. The visit proved highly motivating, informative, and beneficial for the overall functioning, training standards, and future growth of the Unit.
