Rohtak, March 29, 2026: In compliance with the directions of Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar conducted an inspection of the grain market (Anaj Mandi), Meham to review preparedness for the ongoing rabi procurement season.

During the inspection, the ADC reviewed arrangements related to procurement operations in the presence of SDM Meham Vipin Sharma and officials from concerned departments. He emphasized that farmers visiting mandis must not face any inconvenience while selling their produce, and all necessary facilities should be ensured in a timely manner.

The ADC directed officials to strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines for procurement and ensure that no lapse occurs at any level. He instructed the Market Committee Secretary to make certain that all basic amenities for farmers are fully functional and adequately maintained.

He reviewed key facilities including cleanliness, electricity, drinking water, sanitation and seating arrangements, and directed that these be maintained at optimal levels. He also emphasized the importance of functional CCTV systems at entry gates and across the mandi premises to ensure transparency and smooth operations.

In addition to mandi arrangements, the ADC also reviewed road conditions in Meham and issued directions for necessary repairs to ensure smooth connectivity. He further inspected the General Hospital, Meham, assessed the available facilities, and directed concerned officials to address any gaps to improve service delivery.

Reiterating the administration’s commitment, the ADC said that all arrangements must be farmer-centric, efficient and well-coordinated, ensuring a hassle-free procurement experience.
