Ludhiana, May 13, 2025: Jagraon Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-SVEEP District Nodal Officer Kulpreet Singh on Tuesday chaired a meeting to boost voter participation in the upcoming Ludhiana West by-poll.
Presiding over a meeting, Singh emphasized the role of election teams in implementing the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program to enhance voter awareness and engagement. He stressed the importance of creating impactful awareness campaigns, including seminars, rallies, and community meetings, to celebrate democracy and encourage active participation. He urged officials to leverage social media to amplify SVEEP initiatives, particularly targeting young voters to foster enthusiasm and strengthen democratic participation. He directed officers to optimize resources and coordinate SVEEP activities to promote an inclusive electoral process, reinforcing the spirit of democracy.
