Ludhiana, December 5, 2024: Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Amarjit Bains On Thursday honoured eight players for their achievement at the 11th Commonwealth Karate Championship held in South Africa.
Representing the Indian National Karate Team under the Karate India Organization, the players—Vibhu Bhaskar Sareen, Aksht Jhanji, Armaan Singh, Lakshya Bansal, Dhanveer Singh, Gunika Kelotra, Himakshi Patidar, and Gouravi Kelotra—won medals in various age category events at the Championship.
Bains stated that the players have made the country proud with their outstanding performances and extended his best wishes for their future competitions. He offered them every possible support, emphasizing that the administration will continue to assist them.
The players expressed their gratitude for the recognition and thanked the Ludhiana administration.
