Nawanshahr, April 18, 2022: Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Jasbir Singh directed the officials to clear all the pending files in the Sewa Kendra.

Presiding over a meeting to review the working of the Sewa Kendras at district administrative complex, Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the people coming for their genuine administrative works in these centres must be facilitated by prompt delivery of services to them. Singh said that this would be in consonance with the basic spirit of Punjab government to provide citizen centric services to people under one-roof.

He said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district has 0.12 percent pendency of applications in Sewa Kendras and is on second position in the Punjab.

Additional Deputy Commissioner asked the officials to ensure that people do not face any sort of problem in getting their works done. He added that the Sewa Kendras are duty-bound to facilitate the people and any sort of negligence would not be tolerated at any cost.
