ADC (D) REVIEWS APPLICATIONS RECEIVED DURING MAHATMA GANDHI SARBAT VIKAS YOJANA CAMP HELD ON JAN 20

Ludhiana, January 23, 2019: Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Dr Shena Aggarwal today reviewed the applications received during the camp organised under the Mahatma Gandhi Sarbat Vikas Yojana in blocks Ludhiana-1 and Ludhiana-2 on January 20, 2019.
During the review meeting held here today, Dr Aggarwal said that all departmental heads would ensure their presence for entire day during the future camps to be organised under this scheme. Besides, they would also supervise the welfare schemes of their respective departments so that no person is left from availing benefits under the schemes.
She also directed that the departmental heads would ensure that the detailed report of future camps would be submitted to her office by 5 pm the same day. She also warned that the heads would ensure that the reports are compiled properly without any discrepancies and should not be incomplete. And if any department head fails to adhere to these directions, then the heads would be held directly responsible, strict action would be taken against them and a report in this regard would be forwarded to higher officials for further action.
The ADC (D) directed the employment department to ensure maximum benefits to youth under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Scheme so that the youth can become self dependent and start their own businesses. She directed the Lead Bank officials to ensure that banks give loans to interested youth under different welfare schemes without any delay.
She also directed all department heads to send 2 names each of the beneficiaries of different government schemes by January 24 so that they can be honoured by the Chief Guest during the Republic Day function on January 26. She said that a Nodal Officer should also be appointed in this regard so that the beneficiaries do not face any problem.
