Actress Razia Sukhbir participates in Tressed Up Academy’s session on beauty trends

Chandigarh, January 12, 2015: A workshop was organised by Tressed Up Academy, in association with Indola, located in NAC Market Manimajra, on Professional Makeup, Hair coloring, cutting, styling & advanced skin treatments by qualified trainers and with advanced machines. Said. Heena Khan,CEO, Tressed Up Academy, “Our motive was to create awareness among small saloons on latest beauty industry trends so that they do not get left behind in as far as Industry technology & techniques in vogue are concerned. The beauty Industry is growing fast & small saloons also should take advantage of this. Experts conducted sessions on different aspects of beauty and as many as 40 representatives who run their small businesses connected with the beauty and wellness sector participated.”
Kritika Walia, Counsellor, Tressed Up Academy said, “Apart from conducting such practical workshops our Academy in Manimajra is providing  Internationally recognized  training which includes short & long term beauty courses with Masters in Cosmetology. The duration of these ranges from 3 months to 1.5 yrs. After the course students become trained for Global careers and it is easy for them to settle abroad in countries like Canada, Australia and UK in the beauty industry. The workshop also saw participation by Razia Sukhbir -- a Versatile Punjabi Film Actress who is remembered by her roles in popular TV serial Nadaan Parinde, a Hindi movie -- Maan Sanmaan and a number of Punjabi films like Ik Kudi Punjab Di, Akhiyan Udeek Diyan, Jatt Boys etc. Said Sukhbir, “Apart from Bollywood, the Punjabi films and Tellywood industry too is growing exponentially. This will provide lot of career options to beauty professionals, as looking good is a pre-requisite in the Cine & Glamour World. The steps being taken by Tressed Up Academy are indeed commendable as these will certainly create professionals who will be an asset to the Film Industry.” Actress Cum Model Jyotika Thakur Avni too was present at the event.
While Kuldeep Sandhu took the session on Make Up, Nirmit dwelled at length on hair styling. Latest technology in use for skin problems was also discussed. It is noteworthy that Tressed Up Academy also undertakes free training of students to settle abroad in which areas like English speaking, personality development, customer service, business administration & communication skills etc are addressed.
