Actors of Sony SAB share powerful fitness secrets: Beyond the screen to a healthier lifestyle

The immensely popular and talented artists of Sony SAB—Naveen Pandita, Pariva Pranati, Mahir Pandhi, Aditya Redij, and Arav Chowdharry—open up about their fitness philosophies and how they strike a healthy balance amidst their busy schedules. For these actors, fitness transcends mere appearance; it encompasses mental resilience, emotional stability, and physical activity. With daily workouts, mindful eating habits, meditation practices, and a positive mindset, each has developed a distinctive wellness routine that keeps them energized both on and off the screen. Here’s a glimpse into what motivates and inspires them to pursue a healthier, happier lifestyle.
Naveen Pandita, who essays the role of Ashwin in Pushpa Impossible, said, “I consciously choose foods that nourish my body and boost my energy, rather than simply giving in to cravings. Staying hydrated is just as important—it keeps me feeling refreshed and plays a big role in maintaining overall well-being. It’s all about making small, consistent choices every day that support a healthier lifestyle is my fitness mantra."
Arav Chowdharry, who plays the role of Kesari in Veer Hanuman, said, "Fitness is a way of life for me. I keep my diet simple—lots of fruits, proteins, and home food. Even with hectic shoots, I never skip my workout—be it gym, running, swimming, or horse riding. Where there’s a will, there’s always a way. For mental health, I meditate and try to live in the moment with joy and gratitude. My biggest fitness inspiration is Pawanputra Hanuman—his strength and discipline guide me every day."

Aditya Redij, who plays the role of King Krishnadevaraya in Tenali Rama, said, “For me, fitness isn’t just a routine, it’s a way of life. It’s the discipline that sharpens my mind, the energy that fuels my craft, and the silence where I meet my strongest self. Strength isn’t built in the gym alone—it’s forged in everyday choices. Whether it’s choosing clean food over cravings or pushing through a workout after a long shoot day, every small decision counts. And above all, it’s about consistency, showing up for yourself, even when it’s tough.”

Mahir Pandhi, who plays the role of Bali and Sugreev in Veer Hanuman, said, "Fitness for me is a disciplined lifestyle. My diet is clean—mostly boiled food, no rice, wheat, or dairy—packed with lean protein and lots of vegetables. My workout follows a push, pull, and legs routine, training each body part twice weekly. Even with long shoot hours, I make time to train, often hitting the gym at 6:30 AM after just a few hours of sleep. I believe fitness starts with clean eating and walking at least 15,000 steps daily. But above all, mental health matters most. I stay grounded through spirituality—prayers, meditation, and devotional music help me stay focused and calm. It’s not just a routine, it’s a way of life."

Pariva Pranati, who plays the role of Vandana in Wagle Ki Duniya-Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, said, “Shooting for a daily soap is quite demanding and doesn’t leave much room for a fixed workout routine. But I try to make it work in small ways, like going for long walks at the end of the day, doubling as my time to feed the community animals. It helps me stay active while doing something meaningful. Whenever I can, I also squeeze in some yoga, it helps me unwind and stay centered.”
