Academic Session 2020 begins at CGC Landran 

Chandigarh: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran conducted a Virtual Freshman Orientation Ceremony for the new students of Engineering, Management and Pharmacy to mark the commencement of the Academic Session 2020. 

Amidst the pandemic, the orientation ceremony was held online as compared to the conventional ceremony that is organized in the campus every year. Chairman CGC Landran Satnam Singh Sandhu and President CGC Landran Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal along with the Management officials and faculty welcomed the fresher’s during the orientation ceremony.

“CGCLandran has always ensured that students live their dreams and are provided with excellence in education. Thus, even amidst the pandemic, we are ascertaining that students’ education, as well as their safety, is not compromised in any way and their new academic journey begins in time. With this Virtual Freshman Orientation Program, we are glad to kick-start their academic phase and we seek to assure that CGC is totally prepared for the new normal in education. We are eagerly looking forward to meeting the students in the campus once the situation allows, “said Chairman Satnam Singh Sandhu. 

The orientation acquainted the newbie’s with all the significant aspects of their college life including the curriculum, attendance requirements, student achievement, campus placements, and particularly about the new teaching mechanism for online classes i.e. Learning Management System powered by Google.
