'Abhivyanjana' Concludes with a Flag-off Ceremony by Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha; Visitors laud the students' creativity.

Serving as a unique confluence of art, culture, and creativity, the exhibition captivated a diverse audience—including dignitaries, local art enthusiasts, students, faculty members, and the general public.
Rohtak, May 10, 2026: The eight-day art exhibition—'Abhivyanjana'—at the Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, concluded on Sunday. Serving as a unique confluence of art, culture, and creativity, the exhibition captivated a diverse audience—including dignitaries, local art enthusiasts, students, faculty members, and the general public.
As Chief Guest, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha formally marked the conclusion of the exhibition with a ceremonial flag-off. The 11th edition of the annual art exhibition by the students of the Faculty of Visual Arts—'Abhivyanjana'—was originally scheduled to run until May 8th; however, in light of the overwhelming enthusiasm shown by art lovers and visitors, the event was extended for an additional two days.
On the concluding day, the exhibition was visited by several dignitaries—including Sunit Mukherjee (Professor at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication and Director of Public Relations, MDU, Rohtak) and Dr. Deepti Hooda (Professor at the Department of Psychology, MDU)—who viewed the artworks and offered words of encouragement to the students.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha lauded the event in her address and extended her congratulations to all the staff members and students of the Faculty of Visual Arts. She remarked that this event was not merely an art exhibition, but rather a vibrant testament to the students' talent, imagination, and creative thinking. Present on the occasion were the Coordinator of the Faculty of Visual Arts, Vinay Kumar, along with other staff members and students.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya congratulated all the staff members and students on the successful organization of the event, stating that exhibitions of this nature serve as a showcase for the students' year-long hard work and creativity. He added that the university endeavors to provide students with such a platform every year, enabling them to present their art and ideas to society at large. More than 2,000 artworks—created by over 300 students from the Applied Art, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Animation, and Foundation departments under the Faculty of Arts—formed part of this exhibition, which featured paintings, installations, sketches, digital art, sculptures, print art, and various innovative artworks.
