AAP Revitalizes Its Organization

Chandigarh, May 31, 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced its extensive and impactful organizational restructuring in Punjab, unveiling its new team. AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia has meticulously assessed the party and introduced the team to serve the public. Manish Sisodia has changed traditional political equations by implementing a historic internal organizational transformation. As part of this transformation, grassroots leaders and MLAs have been entrusted with key responsibilities to strengthen the organization and convey government policies to every household, marking the beginning of Mission 2027. For this extensive overhaul, Sisodia has been actively engaging on the ground over the past few days, recognizing and redefining the organization’s pulse. Over the last two months, he has directly interacted with workers and the public in every village and city, working extensively on organizational expansion. Sisodia prioritised service in the organization and ensured representation from all sections of society.
While making the significant announcement, AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia shared that in the new team, five current MLAs from the state have been appointed as state vice presidents. Additionally, nine new party secretaries and general secretaries with organizational experience and the ability to unite grassroots workers have been included. Furthermore, new Lok Sabha incharges have been appointed for all 13 parliamentary constituencies in Punjab. District presidents have been finalized for all 28 districts in Punjab, with most new faces being young, active members within their communities.

Five MLAs appointed as State Vice Presidents
AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia has divided Punjab into zones to ensure comprehensive representation. According to the list, Khadoor Sahib MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura has been given the responsibility of the Majha zone. Similarly, Adampur MLA Dr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi will oversee the Doaba zone. In Malwa, responsibilities have been distributed among three MLAs: Moga MLA Amandeep Kaur for Malwa Central, Chamkaur Sahib MLA Charanjit Singh for Malwa East, and Sri Muktsar Sahib MLA Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar for Malwa West.
Four General Secretaries and Five State Secretaries
To strengthen the party's roots, experienced leaders have been entrusted with roles as state secretaries and general secretaries. According to the list, party leaders Harchand Singh Barsat, MP Malvinder Singh Kang, Deepak Bali, and Dr. Sunny Singh Ahluwalia have been appointed as state general secretaries. Additionally, Sandeep Saini from Doaba, Gurdev Singh Lakhna from Majha, Navjot Singh Jarg from Malwa Central, Ranjodh Singh Hadana from Malwa East, and Inderjit Singh Maan from Malwa West have been given important responsibilities as state secretaries.
Incharges Appointed for All 13 Lok Sabha Constituencies
AAP has also taken a major step in strengthening its organization by appointing incharges in all 13 Lok Sabha constituencies in Punjab for the first time. The list includes Karamjit Kaur for Hoshiarpur, Ramneek Singh Lucky Randhawa for Jalandhar, Jaskaran Badesha for Amritsar, Rajiv Sharma for Gurdaspur, Ranjit Cheema for Khadoor Sahib, Sukhjinder Singh Kauni for Faridkot, Pradeep Khalsa for Fatehgarh Sahib, Sharanpal Singh Makkar for Ludhiana, Kuljeet Sarhal for Anandpur Sahib, Baljinder Dhillon for Patiala, Gurmel Singh Gharacho for Sangrur, Navdeep Singh Jida for Bathinda, and Jagdev Singh Bam for Firozpur.

 According to the list released by Sisodia, Gurwinder Singh Pabla has been assigned as district incharge for Hoshiarpur. AAP Punjab President Aman Arora extended his best wishes to the new team and urged all office bearers to engage with the public and dedicate themselves to public service. He said that all members of the organization should take the pro-people initiatives of the Punjab government to every household. Arora emphasized that in areas where the voice of the people is not being heard, party office-bearers should take the lead and prioritize the needs of the people.
