AAP MLAs Deliver Results; Vote for Sanjeev Arora to Ensure Your Work Gets Done: Arvind Kejriwal

Ludhiana, June 11, 2025: AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann campaigned for AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora in Ludhiana West and addressed a massive Jansabha held at Sanet. The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout of supporters, reflecting the growing wave of trust in AAP's vision for Punjab. AAP Punjab Incharge Manish Sisodia, along with cabinet ministers and MLAs, joined the campaign, further energizing the atmosphere and rallying support for Sanjeev Arora ahead of the upcoming by-election.

Addressing a massive gathering in Ludhiana West, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal expressed gratitude to the people for their overwhelming support. Kejriwal emphasized the importance of electing an AAP MLA, stating, “If you want any work done, only an AAP MLA can ensure it. If you vote for candidates from other parties, all your work will come to a halt.”

Kejriwal highlighted Sanjeev Arora's significant efforts in addressing long-pending issues. Kejriwal said, “In March, Bhagwant Mann and I visited a village in your constituency, where we learned that registry matters were pending for a long time. I assigned Sanjeev Arora the responsibility, and within two months, over 70% of the registries were done.” He assured that the remaining 30% of registries would be completed within a month when Arora is elected.

Kejriwal warned against voting for Congress candidate Ashu, saying, “If you vote for Ashu, all your work will stop. He cannot bring funds; all he does is hurl abuses at Bhagwant Mann day and night.” Kejriwal further lauded Arora’s humility and accessibility, describing him as a leader who follows the teachings of Guru Sahib and always prioritizes the needs of the people. “Vote for someone you can visit anytime and who will work for you. What will you gain by electing an arrogant person who is unapproachable?”

He also made a significant announcement, promising that Sanjeev Arora would be elevated to the Punjab Cabinet if elected. “When the results come on the 23rd, make Sanjeev Arora your MLA, and we will make him a Cabinet Minister in Punjab. Ministers have their own funds and powers, and he will use his position and funds for the development of Ludhiana West,” Kejriwal added.

Highlighting his government’s achievements, CM Bhagwant Mann stated, “Unlike other governments that start working in their final months, we began delivering from day one.” He emphasized the progress made under AAP’s leadership, including the recruitment of 54,154 candidates into government jobs, an accomplishment achieved with complete transparency and merit. “Before us, jobs were given based on recommendations. Now, they are awarded based on qualifications,” Mann added.

Mann appealed to voters to support AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora, citing his proven track record of addressing public issues even before the elections. “Sanjeev Arora resolved over 70% of registry issues in Sanet village within months. Elect him, and the remaining work will be completed in no time,” he promised. He also lauded Arora’s philanthropic efforts, mentioning his role in raising ₹16 crore for a child  struggling with a rare disease in Delhi, and assured the public that with Arora’s election, Ludhiana West would witness unparalleled development.

Referring to opposition candidates, Mann urged voters to think critically about their choices. “Why vote for someone who is arrogant? Vote for those who care for the future of your children, not for goons and corrupt leaders,” he remarked. He also criticized Congress leaders for their inaction and indifference to public issues, asserting that they are disconnected from the ground reality.

Mann added, “Our government schools are producing excellent results, Mohalla Clinics are operational, and businesses now have confidence in a corruption-free administration." Additionally, he pointed to advancements in Punjab’s canal water usage efficiency and the revival of coal mines, showcasing the state’s self-reliance under AAP’s governance.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed AAP’s commitment to tackling drug menace, ensuring economic growth, and protecting Punjab’s rights, including water disputes with Haryana. “Our intentions are clear, and our focus is on the welfare of Punjab and Punjabis. Every decision we make is in the best interest of our people,” he concluded.

Mann appealed to the people to vote for AAP on June 19 and ensure Sanjeev Arora’s victory, promising that he would be elevated to a cabinet minister role to further accelerate Ludhiana West’s progress. “Your trust in us has brought change, and together we will make Punjab a ‘Rangla Punjab’ again,” Mann promised.
