Chandigarh, Aug 21, 2025: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today lambasted the AAP government in Punjab for completely subverting democracy in the state and unleashing a police raj.
Strongly condemning the arrest of senior BJP leaders across the state, Chugh said the Bhagwant Mann government has imposed an undeclared Emergency to stifle the voice of the BJP.
He said the BJP leaders had done nothing to break any law, yet they were being subjected to police torture and humiliation.
It reflected complete panic in the AAP ranks after the dismal failure of the Bhagwant Mann government in governance.
Chugh said the AAP government had failed on all fronts and there was widespread resentment against it in all sections, be it government employees, farmers, or traders.
