AAP fails to fulfil any promise made to the people of the state: Pawan Dewan

Ludhiana, October 16, 2025: Further strengthening the Congress Party, former President of District Congress Committee (Urban) Ludhiana and former Chairman of the Punjab Large Industrial Development Board, Pawan Dewan, distributed appointment letters to the newly appointed office bearers of the District Congress Committee with the approval of the party high command.

Addressing the gathering, Pawan Dewan said that the strength of the Congress Party is growing day by day, clearly indicating that people are fed up and disillusioned with the anti-people policies of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party.

He stated that the Aam Aadmi Party has failed to fulfill even a single promise made to the public before the Assembly elections. While women are still waiting for the promised ₹1000 per month, the law and order situation in the state has deteriorated badly, with criminal incidents being reported almost every day.

Dewan further emphasized that the by-election in the Tarn Taran Assembly constituency will prove to be the final nail in the coffin of this government. People are eagerly waiting for the next Assembly elections to bid farewell to this non-performing government — and that time is not far away.

Prominent Congress leaders including Inderjit Kapoor, Sushil Malhotra, Deepak Hans, and Manni Kheeva were also present on the occasion. While Ajay Kumar Bansal, Rohit Pahwa, Gagandeep Bawa, and Sunil Sehgal were appointed as Vice Presidents, Neeraj Birla and Ashwini Jain as General Secretaries, and Sunny Kheeva as Secretary of the District Congress Committee (Urban) Ludhiana.
