‘AAP’ corners Jai Inder Kaur: Question Captain about his ‘false promises’ before going to Chandigarh, says Baltej Pannu
Captain took an oath on Sacred Gutka Sahib and betrayed Punjabis, Jai Inder Kaur should explain that: Baltej Pannu
Before pointing fingers at ‘AAP’, give an account of BJP’s ‘15 lakh’ and Captain’s ‘job for every household’ promises: Baltej Pannu
Chandigarh, November 22, 2025: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab State General Secretary Baltej Pannu launched a sharp attack on former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s daughter and BJP leader Jai Inder Kaur. Reacting to Jai Inder Kaur’s protest in Chandigarh against the ‘AAP’ government demanding ₹1100 for women in Punjab, Pannu advised her to first seek answers from her father, Captain Amarinder Singh, before embarking on any political mission. Pannu said that today he is a senior BJP leader, and in 2017 he lied to the people of Punjab, which is why the questions should be directed at him.
Baltej Pannu asked Jai Inder Kaur to question her father Captain Amarinder Singh about the promise of “Government job for every household.” He asked how many households have received these jobs during his term. He also asked her to inquire what happened to the promise of complete loan waive, including loans taken not just from banks and commission agents, but also from neighbours.
The AAP leader said that Captain Amarinder Singh had also promised an unemployment allowance and had even made unemployed youth fill out forms for it, what happened to that allowance? Raising the most important question, he said that Captain Amarinder Singh had taken an oath on the sacred Gutka Sahib and declared that he would break the backbone of drugs within four weeks, and what he did after coming to power, the whole of Punjab knows the truth.
On the issue of women’s allowance, the AAP leader said that the party in which Jai Inder Kaur and her father are currently serving had once thrown the slogan of depositing ₹15 lakh in people’s bank accounts, and it is possible that Jai Inder Kaur is still using that same ₹15 lakh.
He assured that the Mann government is fully committed to its promise of giving ₹1100 to women, and that this promise will be fulfilled soon. Pannu concluded by saying that if Jai Inder Kaur ji also wants to get her name registered in the list of women beneficiaries, she may tell now.
