Aam Aadmi Party government working seriously on demands of Hindu community: Varun Mehta

Ludhiana, December 19, 2025: A special meeting of the Sanatan Seva Samiti was held at the office of Bharat Sharma Nauni, coordinator of the Atam Nagar constituency. Varun Mehta, the organization's general secretary for Malwa Zone 1, was present as a special guest.  District in-charge Nikhil Sharma, state leader Yashpal Sharma, and others were also prominently present.

Varun Mehta said that the Sanatan Seva Samiti, under the able leadership of its national head, Vijay Sharma, has formed a strong team in Malwa, Majha, and Doaba regions to promote Sanatan Dharma.  They have appointed coordinators in 117 assembly constituencies and have launched a campaign to connect with the community, receiving overwhelming public support.

Mehta said that while previous governments in the state were caught up in vote bank politics and ignored the Hindu community, the Aam Aadmi Party government, under the able guidance of State In-charge Manish Sisodia and the insightful vision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is seriously working on the long-pending demands of Punjab's 42% Hindu population. Plans are being made for the renovation of our pilgrimage sites.

Mehta said that the process of appointing all block presidents in the city is underway, and by December 31, our units will be formed in all 95 wards of the city. To connect with the young Sanatani community and to be readily available to serve the public at all times, the Sanatan Seva Samiti Malwa Zone 1 and the district committee office will be inaugurated on December 23.

District in-charge Nikhil Sharma said that a special campaign is being launched to connect the youth with Sanatani culture by contacting all religious and social temple committees.  Kirtan groups are also being formed with the participation of women.  Anil Kumar (South Coordinator), Sahil Pathak (Central), Ashwani Kannaujia (North), Karan dhand (west) Sahil Khera, Mohinder Sharma, Sonu Sharma, and others were also present on the occasion.
