Vinod Tawde said that BJP will go to the public and ask for votes about the works done during the last 5 years and the works to be done in future.

In response to a question, Vinod Tawde said that the Aam Aadmi Party is the B team of the Congress, which has people coming from Congress itself. Taking a dig at the Congress, he said that Congress wants to buy the voters of Chandigarh on the basis of money by giving tickets to big builders and moneylenders, but the votes of the people of Chandigarh cannot be bought at any cost. Their plans to buy the faith of the people of Chandigarh on the basis of money  will not succeed.
Describing the candidate selection process, Tawde said that all the divisions of the BJP will prepare a list of the ticket candidates willing to contest at their level and send it to the district team and after considering them the team of the BJP districts will shortlist the list of contenders and send it to the state election committee. and the ticket will be finalized by the election committee after discussing with the authorized officials of the state / national level and the candidates will be announced.
He made it clear that the participation of MP Kirron Kher would be there during the election and she  would maintain on-line contact. He said that the party would win 100 per cent in these municipal elections. The opposition is completely scattered and people are well aware of the culture of the opposition and said that there will be no grand alliance. Our party is ready to deal with all situations.
He said that Aam Aadmi Party insulted the voters of Chandigarh. BJP has always been thinking of giving participation to the youth, on this basis their party will consider the candidates. He further said that most of the promises made in the BJP's previous manifesto have been fulfilled and some are going to happen.
In the recent Haryana by-elections, there has been an increase in the vote count for the party. There is no effect of the farmers' agitation. This is not a movement of farmers but of farmers' organizations. He said that the government will take steps to discuss the pertinent issues of the farmers.
He said that the people of Chandigarh have full faith in Modi, because Chandigarh and Modi are complementary to each other. The people of Chandigarh have full faith in Modi. With this confidence, the BJP will register a 100% victory in the municipal elections.
