Aadhaar Card Not Mandatory for HTET Application: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)-2025, conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani, Aadhaar card is not mandatory for submitting the application, in view of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Candidates can apply online till January 4, 2026.
Rohtak, January 1, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)-2025, conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani, Aadhaar card is not mandatory for submitting the application, in view of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Candidates can apply online till January 4, 2026.
He informed that the Hon’ble Supreme Court has clarified that Aadhaar should not be made mandatory for examinations and can only be accepted as a means of identification. Candidates will be able to make online corrections in their personal details, photograph, signature, thumb impression, level and subject selection (Level 2 & 3), category, disability category and home state on January 4 and 5, 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner advised candidates to ensure timely submission of their applications and to regularly visit the official website of the Board bseh.org.in for the latest updates, so that they do not miss any important or essential information.
