A Tibetan activist starts on foot journey from Dharamshala to Nathula in Sikkim

Dharamshala: A Tibetan activist, Tenzin Dhondup begins a Solo March for Freedom today from Dharamshala to Nathula in Sikkim. He is expected to reach his destination at the end of December 2020. Speaking to media persons in Mcleodganj Tenzin Dhondup says that he is ready to face any challenge during this tough on foot journey.

He said that he is starting his solo march with the demands to seeking urgent attention to the deteriorating environmental situation in Tibet; the world must accept Tibet as an occupied country; and China should be punished for the recent attack on the Indo-Tibet border by boycotting products Made in China.

Tibetan Youth Congress is supporting the activist solo march and it organized an event to see off him from McLeodganj today.
Many other Tibetan activists gathered in McLeodganj (Upper Dharamshala)this morning to wish him good luck for these two months long on foot journey.
