A Night of Fashion, Flair & Future: PCTE Unveils MODISTES 2026
The Fashion Design Department of PCTE Group of Institutes proudly unveiled Modistes 2026, the Annual Graduating Fashion Show, a vibrant culmination of creativity, culture, and couture. Held today, this much-anticipated event spotlighted the immense talent of 28 graduating students from the B.Sc. Fashion Design batch of 2023–2026.
Ludhiana, April 17, 2026: The Fashion Design Department of PCTE Group of Institutes proudly unveiled Modistes 2026, the Annual Graduating Fashion Show, a vibrant culmination of creativity, culture, and couture. Held today, this much-anticipated event spotlighted the immense talent of 28 graduating students from the B.Sc. Fashion Design batch of 2023–2026.
Modistes 2026 served as a powerful platform for these aspiring designers to translate their artistic vision into tangible, awe-inspiring fashion collections. Featuring 28 unique and innovative collections, the event captured a spectrum of themes—ranging from avant-garde and sustainable fashion to Indian craftsmanship, heritage textiles, contemporary couture, and everyday chic wear, all curated for the Spring-Summer 2027 season.
Each collection was a reflection of deep exploration, identity, and boundless creativity. The ramp came alive with experiments in textile dyeing, fabric manipulation, ethnic inspiration, and bold silhouettes—delivering an artistic expression that pushed boundaries while honoring tradition.
From initial concept to final stitch, the students led every phase of the creative process, showcasing not only their technical skills but also a fearless vision for the future of fashion. The support and guidance of PCTE’s experienced faculty played a pivotal role in nurturing these young minds, equipping them with the confidence and professionalism to take on the global fashion stage.
Some standout themes that turned heads at Modistes 2026 included captivating concepts such as "Unbounded," "Crown of Pine," "Zari- e- Banaras," "Threads of Heritage," Nature’s Nut "," Sutra Dhar," "Forgotten Echoes," and many more, each offering a unique blend of tradition and innovation.

Gracing the event were some of the biggest names in the fashion industry, who lent their insights and encouragement to the young designers, Sandeep Jain (Executive Director of Monte Carlo), Praveen Jotaniya (Design Head Sportking), Charu Arora and Neha (Vardhman), Manmeet Sodia, Rahul Kapoor Arun (Duke Fashion), Ritu Verma, Jaspreet Kaur( Monte Carlo) were also in attendance.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Pooja Singh and the NIIB Institute for sponsoring the hair and makeup for all our models tonight and a heartfelt gratitude to our Gifting Partner – Albasir Industries, for adding a thoughtful gesture of appreciation to the event.
The evening culminated in a grand award ceremony, where the top talents of the batch were recognized: Gurleen received the award for Best Design Collection, Sakshi won Best Commercial Collection, Gulveen was honored with Most Innovative Collection, Best Surface Ornamentation was won by Neha, Shivangi won the best contemporary collection, Jaismeen and Muskan won the best handcrafted collection award.
The show concluded with an overwhelming response from industry professionals and fashion enthusiasts alike. PCTE once again reaffirmed its position as a premier institute nurturing future-ready fashion professionals with creative vision, technical expertise, and global perspective.
