Written and directed by the budding artist Yamini Swami and is produced under the banner Sanatan World Projects Pvt Ltd Productions, the film was budgeted around INR 8-9 crores and was completed by March 2020, but got delayed in release due to pandemic.

‘Badhai Ho BetiHueeHai’ film is based on the ambitious scheme of the Government of India which has been promoting to “Educate the Girl Child, Save the girl child” (BetiBachao, BetiPadhaoAbhiyaan)

The story of the film is about a girl child who got equal opportunities like men and made it big in the male-dominated society. A journey of a daughter and how she skills up herself by educating herself and learns to read and write and make her family change the mindset and lifestyle altogether with her hard work and determination.

Although women in today’s time have been facing less discretion in India, there are still some areas where females are exploited, harassed and not given equal rights and changes in their lives.

The film was initially shot in Ranchi (Jharkhand), and many scenes were further shot in Mumbai and Delhi as well, covering the journey of the girl who made a big leap and growth.

At the premiere of the film, the director Yamini Swamy said, “Daughters are not less than sons in any way; daughters have contributed equally in every field.”

She further added that she felt like a victim in her childhood because of the taunts of her family and people around her. That is how she decided to spread awareness on the girl child, equality and their rights in society. Yamini also wrote a song on a daughter who did not have the shadow of her father. The song was sung by Anoop Jalota in the film.

Yamini is the main protagonist of the film and is paired alongside popular television actor Aryamann Seth. Also eminent actors and actresses like Jayaprada, PeeyushSuhaney, Kamal Mallick, ArmaanTahil, Jayant Mishra, Rajesh Khanna, and HariomParashar are playing a prominent role in the film.
