Rohtak, March 5, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the Class 10 English examination conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana was held peacefully and transparently across the district under robust administrative arrangements.

A total of 9,685 students were scheduled to appear in the examination, out of which 9,580 students attended, while 105 students remained absent.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that the district administration has made comprehensive arrangements to ensure that board examinations are conducted smoothly, fairly, and without any use of unfair means. For effective monitoring, flying squads have been constituted and duty magistrates deployed at various examination centres. Adequate police security arrangements have also been put in place to maintain discipline and ensure the smooth conduct of examinations.

He further said that 45 examination centres have been established across the district for the ongoing board examinations. The Class 12 board examinations will continue until April 1, while the Class 10 and D.El.Ed examinations will continue until March 20, as per the schedule issued by the Board.

To monitor the examination process and address any issues promptly, a Control Room has been set up at the District Education Officer’s office. The control room is staffed with officers of principal rank and supporting staff. Citizens or officials can contact the control room at 01262-271871 if required.

The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the district administration remains committed to ensuring that all board examinations are conducted in a peaceful, fair and transparent manner.
