The accused from whom Ludhiana police have seized 8064 capsules and 100 syrup bottles, seen with police.
Ludhiana, April 15, 2014: Police have seized 8,064 capsules and 100 syrup bottles from three persons arrested at a naka here.
The Anti-Narcotics Cell Ludhiana in-charge Harbans Singh told the media persons today that the arrested accused had been identified as Aman Chain Bagga and Balraj Kumar alias Billa.
One of their accomplices Kuldip Singh is still absconding.
The arrested persons failed to show documents related to drugs or license to police following which they were booked under the NDPS Act at Police Division No.6.
Singh said the accused used to get the supply from Delhi at a cheaper rate and supply it in and around Ludhiana at a higher rate.
Further police investigation is in progress.
