Ludhiana, October 12, 2019: Swar-Manthan Kala Manch organised 7th Indian Classical Music Event at Ramgarhia Girls College today.
The Event was conducted at Mata Tripta Ji Hall at 9: 30 a.m. Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Inderjit Kaur welcomed the esteemed guests, S .Harvansh Singh and S.Baljeet Singh Surbhi the well-Known Violin player and Classical Vocalist. The program started with the recitation of Saraswati Vandana by the students of Department of Music of Ramgarhia Girls College. Later, to proceed the event Harvansh Singh enthralled the audience with the beautiful music created with violin followed by Pardeep Kumar, tabla player. Prominent musicians Baljeet Singh Surbhi with Classical Vocal, Jasdeep Singh with Tabla, and Chintan Rajput with Harmonium mesmerized the audience with their delightful performances.
Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Inderjit Kaur expressed her views by saying that it is rightly said that music is the food of the soul and such expert performances justifies such views. This event indeed has helped students learn a great deal about the minute details of classical music.
S. Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council, asserted that such classical programs provide a platform for the rising artists to flourish and help younger generation to stay attached to the roots. The event came to an end with vote of thanks by S.Gurcharan Singh Lotey, General Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council.
