Dharamshala, January 15, 2019: Health and Family Welfare Minister, Vipin Singh Parmar said that the government is paying special attention to the uplift of all sections of the society, especially the weaker sections and Rs 600 crore is being spent for providing social security pension to the needy sections of the state. Addressing a large gathering in Arla of Sulha assembly constituency of Kangra district,He said, “ 76025 new pension cases have been sanctioned by our government , including 30000 cases of elderly people aged 70 plus.”
On this occasion, he distributed cheques worth 12 lakh rupees 373 different beneficiaries to purchase 150 solar lamps, Cycles to 77 women, 74 induction heaters, 56 washing machines . Health Minister also distributed sewing machines to 177 women and rs 41,66,000 as assistance for construction of houses to 32 beneficiaries.
District Labour Officer Anurag Sharma and other officials were also present at this occasion.
