7 IPS and 3 PPS Officers transferred

Chandigarh, August 21, 2013: The Punjab Government today transferred 7 IPS and 3 PPS officers in the state with immediate effect.  
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that Mr.B Chandra Sekhar, IPS has been transferred and posted as IGP/EOW cum Director Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, Chandigarh, Shashi Prabha Dwivedi, IPS has been posted as IGP/Modernisation, Punjab Chandigarh, R.P.S.Brar IPS has been posted as IGP/Crime, Punjab Chandigarh, Ram Singh, IPS has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, Jatinder Singh Aulakh, IPS has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh, IPS has been posted as DIG/Ludhiana Range with additional charge of Cyber Crime, Punjab Chandigarh and Dinesh Partap Singh, IPS has been posted as JD/Administration/VB, Punjab with additional charge of DIG/Administration, Punjab Chandigarh.
The spokesman further said that Rajpal Singh, PPS, SSP/Fazilka has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 7th Battalion, PAP, Jalandhar, Snehdeep Sharma, PPS, SSP/Barnala has been posted as Commandant, 3rd Battalion, IRB, Ludhiana and Harjinder Singh, PPS, has been posted as AIG/Provisioning, Punjab Chandigarh.
