66th Convocation of Doaba College held

Jalandhar, March 18, 2023: 66th Convocation of Doaba College, Jalandhar was organized in Virendra Auditorium today. Major General Anuraag Chhibber, VSM, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The dignitaries were accorded a hearty welcome by Chander Mohan- President- College Managing Committee, Alok Sondhi- General Secretary, Dr. Sushma Chawla- Vice President by Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, staff and students.

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari formally welcomed the dignitaries and read the annual report of the various activities in the college.

Presiding over the function Sh. Chander Mohan said, “ Entire Doaba Fraternity is proud of its alumnus Major General Anuraag Chhibber who has carved a niche for himself and is now source of inspiration to numerous students.

Major General Anuraag Chhibber  said that India is marching ahead with leaps and bound thereby becoming fifth largest economy in the world. He said that the young country with the average age of 29 years requires the earnest participation of young students so as to catapult the country on the path of glory. Sh. Chander Mohan, Sh. Alok Sondhi, Dr. Sushma Chawla and Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari felicitated Major General Anuraag Chhibber with Doaba Award, Silver Plaque and Shawl as a mark of honour.

Chander Mohan, Alok Sondhi, Dr. Sushma Chawla and Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari presented degrees to total 480 student’s session 2020-21 & 2021-22. Sh. Alok Sondhi  gave vote of thanks.
