64TH REPUBLIC DAY celebration at PTU

R-Day celebrations at PTU premises, Kapurthala.

Kapurthala, January 27, 2013: The 64th Republic Day was celebrated by Punjab Technical University (PTU) in Kapurthala campus with traditional fervour.

Dr. Rajneesh Arora, Vice Chancellor unfurled the National Flag.

The Jawans of PESKO held a parade ceremony on this occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajneesh Arora said that one should always keep in mind that one is a part of this great republican and one can play a good role on one’s responsible seat. A person can contribute to the development of a nation by doing his work well in time and with full devotion and loyalty. This will be a true tribute to the Republic of India.

During the ceremony, Mukhtiyar Singh, an employee of PTU read a poem.

The Stage was conducted by programme Coordinator Dr. Jaspal Singh, Joint Registrar PTU.

On the occasion, Registrar Dr. H.S. Bains, Director PIT Kapurthala Dr. Nachattar Singh, Dean RIC (Research, Innovation and Consultancy) Dr. A.P. Singh, Dean College Development Dr. Balkar Singh and other staff members were also present.
