550th birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji celebrated at premises of GNIPS

Jalandhar, December 1, 2018: The 550th birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated at the premises of Guru Nanak International Senior Secondary Public School, I-Block, B.R.S Nagar, Ludhiana with great zeal, religious fervour and devotion. The celebration commenced with the recital of 51 paths of Japji Sahib by the students which was followed by Shabad Gayan under the patronage of Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The Sangat Paid obeisance to the great Guru.
Numerous Poems, Speeches and Sakhis were recited by students focusing on Guru Nanak Dev ji’s teachings of universal brotherhood. They also laid emphasis on embarking the path shown by Guru Ji for a better living serenity floated in the air with the humming of the holy hymns which paved the way for a fruitful and productive way.
The Shabads “Satguru Nanak Pargatya”,”Kal Taaran Guru Nanak Aaya”,”Jahar Peer Jagat Guru Baba” and “Aava Sajjna Hau Dekh Darshan Tera Ram” filled the whole atmosphere the peace and divinity.
General Secretary, S.Gurvinder Singh Sarna gave a vote of thanks to the Parents, Staff Members and Students for their valuable contribution to make this event a huge success. Principal Mrs. Bedi encouraged students to follow the path shown to us by Baba Nanak Ji.The celebrations culminated with the distribution of “Guru Ka Langar”.
