Punjab Minister, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon gives away prizes to the winners on the concluding ceremony of the 5-day 18th National Youth Festival at Punjab Agricultural University at Ludhiana on Thursday.

Ludhiana, January 17, 2014: The 5-day 18th National Youth Festival concluded at Punjab Agricultural University here on Thursday. Around 5,000 youths, both boys and girls, from all states and UTs participated in the event. During the closing ceremony, Punjab Minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon gave away the prizes to the winners. The winning teams were awarded Rs 40,000, first runners up teams Rs 30,000 and second runners-up teams Rs 10,000.In the individual events, winners were awarded Rs 10, 000, first runners-up Rs 7,000 and second runners-up Rs 5,000. Among others, Salim Ahmed, Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan was present.
