Jalandhar, December 12, 2013: Indian women Kabaddi team finally kissed the crown third time consecutively after dashing New Zealand to the ground. In the Final virtual one sided show down at the grand finale of women category of World Cup Kabaddi India emerged victorious crushing Kiwi team with the margin of points 49-21 handed over record prize money of Rs. 1 crore to the Indian team that was more than double that they got in the third edition of World cup Kabbadi whereas Kiwi team had to satisfy themselves with prize money of Rs. 51 lakh. The third position holder Denamrk women kabbadi team took the prize money of Rs. 25 lakh
Anu Rani declared best stopper whereas Ram Bateri declared best raider and received Maruti Alto Car each.

India out classed New Zealand (49-21)
In the women final India thrashed New Zealand by the margin of 49-21 points. At the end of 1st half Indian team was leading with the difference 22-11 points. Raiders of Indian team Priyanka Deviand Ram Bateri got 10-10 points each whereas stopper Anu Rani, Randeep and Khushbo bagged 6, 6 and 5 points respectively.
