4859 candidates registered, 4415 selected during job fair at CT Group

Jalandhar, September 13, 2021: A one-day mega job fair of District Administration, Jalandhar in association with CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, Shahpur under Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojna and Karobar Mission, initiated by Punjab Government was organized at CT Polytechnic College, Shahpur campus today. The job fair saw the participation of the students of PG/UG/Polytechnic/ITI, Diploma/ XII and X passed.

4859 candidates registered and had a golden chance to get selected by more than 52 companies. Companies namely Oceana Tech, Enexus, Sebiz, Apollo Home Care, Pukhraj Health Care, NIIT, ICICI, Axis, Club JB, Mattrem and Videocon etc participated in this fair. Out of 4859, 4415 candidates got selected and 162 shortlisted.

Jaswant Rai, Deputy Director, Employment Bureau and Deepak Bhalla, Deputy CEO, Employment Bureau paid a visit in a job fair.  They were accompanied by CT Group Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Campus Director Dr. Rahul Malhotra, Dean Academics Dr. Anupamdeep Sharma, Deputy Director CCPC Vansh Raheja, Placement Officers Nittan Arora and Kunal Verma.

While appreciating the efforts of organizing this job fair, Jaswant Rai, Deputy Director, Employment Bureau said, “After the long shutdown due to COVID-19, this is a great platform in order to raise employment opportunities for the young generation and the response has been outstanding. The key motive is to give maximum number of jobs to the pass out students and for those as well who are looking for jobs.”

Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, Manbir Singh, Managing Director and Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman congratulated the selected candidates for the jobs and expressed their contentment by virtue of the fact that the institutions always work towards providing employment opportunities for the students.
