471 Questions received so far for 5-day assembly session in Dharamsala

Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, announced that 471 questions (both starred and unstarred) have been received for the upcoming fourth assembly session of the 14th Vidhan Sabha of Himachal Pradesh.

Dharamsala, December 18, 2023: Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, announced that 471 questions (both starred and unstarred) have been received for the upcoming fourth assembly session of the 14th Vidhan Sabha of Himachal Pradesh. 

The winter session is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, December 19, in Dharamsala. Pathania addressed a press conference at Vidhan Sabha Parisar in Tapovan, Dharamsala, providing insights into the preparations for the session.

The five-day winter session will encompass discussions on 29 issues across various sections of the Himachal Pradesh assembly. To ensure a smooth session, an all-party meeting is scheduled for the evening, where Pathania will appeal to all party leaders for cooperation.

It's noteworthy that the tradition of holding the winter session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly in Dharamsala started in December 2005 when , the then Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh organized a full-fledged winter session in Dharamsala, moving it outside Shimla for the first time. Since then, it has become a customary practice to conduct every winter session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly in Dharamsala.
