460 NCC Cadets Participate in Yoga Day Sessions Organized by 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC Ludhiana

On the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, Ludhiana organized special yoga sessions at various NCC institutions. A total of 460 NCC cadets participated in the event and promoted the message of a healthy lifestyle through yoga.

Ludhiana, June 21, 2026: On the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, Ludhiana organized special yoga sessions at various NCC institutions. A total of 460 NCC cadets participated in the event and promoted the message of a healthy lifestyle through yoga.
The programme commenced at 7:00 AM, during which the cadets performed various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation exercises under the guidance of trained yoga instructors. Information regarding the physical and mental health benefits of yoga was also shared with the participants.
On this occasion, the Commanding Officer of 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, Colonel R. S. Chauhan, motivated the cadets after witnessing their high morale, discipline, and enthusiasm. He emphasized that yoga not only keeps the body healthy and fit but also helps in developing a calm, balanced, and focused mind. He encouraged the cadets to adopt yoga as a regular part of their daily lives and contribute towards building a healthier society.
The cadets participated enthusiastically and carried forward the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” At the conclusion of the programme, all participants pledged to practice yoga regularly.
