Jalandhar, November 26, 2017: “Curiosity is the beginning of innovation. It is combining existing elements in a new way to create value for customers,” is the thought shared during the 3rd International Multi-Track Conference (IMTC) on Sciences, Engineering & Technical Innovations organized by CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology (CTIEMT), Shahpur Jalandhar in association with CSI Chapter Chandigarh.
The conference was a premier gathering of professors, scientists, engineers, technologists, planners, managers, innovators, policy makers, students, researchers, and others interested for sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences across the globe with an objective to provide an opportunity for industry professionals, policy makers and academicians to present their findings and have intellectual deliberations on emerging technologies.
In this conference, 450 scholars presented their research papers. The contributions were presented by the participants from across the world. Prof. Manu Sood, H.P University and Prof. B.S. Kaith, NIT, Jalandhar were the keynote speakers. Besides, Dr. Manpreet S Manna, Director AICTE also graced the occasion as the Chief Guest whereas Mr. Mwitumwa Namunda Lubinda (Second Secretary) High Commission of Zambia was the Guest of Honor.
A special honor was presented to scholars namely Dr. Ioan-Cosmin Mihai who is working in the Discipline of Cyber Security and Cyber Crime at The Faculty of Police, Alexandru Loan Cuza, Police Academy, Romania and Dr. Kamarul Hawari bin Ghazali who is working as Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Pekan and Professional Engineer, Board of Engineer, Malaysia as Honorary Professors for CT University Ludhiana by Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti.
Prof. Manu Sood, H.P University also said that on technological context people should understand the positive aspect of Technology instead of highlighting its negative aspects which will help us the society, the people in global growth and development as well.
Mr. Mwitumwa Namunda Lubinda (Second Secretary, High Commission of Zambia) acknowledged the initiative of CT Group for organizing such International Conference of great repute in order to provide a prestigious platform to the scholars for presenting their research work.
Dr. G S Kalra (Campus Director, CT Group of Institutions) said, “The deliberation and ideas of experts would definitely contribute in enlightening the scope of science & technology pertaining to globalization of Technical Education. The expertise would be the guiding foot-prints for many to make a world class representation of Education System and Educational Excellence.”
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman of CT Group) welcomed the dignitaries and showcased their privilege in providing podium to the participants from different institutes nationwide and abroad. He further stated, “The main motive to organize this conference was to enrich and enlighten the faculty from various engineering institutions globally in the diverse fields that shall definitely help in bridging the gap between the industry and academia.”
